Eric comes from Brittish Colombia in Canada. After finishing school, and quitting a carreer in motocross, he went backpacking and hoped trains and hitch hiked across Canada, until he found himself caught up by winter in Newfoundland. Looking for a warm place to go, he contacted us and joined in Mexico and sailed all the way down to Costa Rica. From there he left to go backbacking in Central America. Being raised on a farm, trained as an engineer and having raced bikes semi professionaly, Eric is very practical and technically minded, and he was a great help on the boat.
