Zack comes from Ontario but works a bit everywhere as a sea kayak registered guide and an instructor for OutwardBound, an outdoor non profit organisation that offers courses in survival, hiking, kayaking and the like. He joined us in 2010 in Costa Rica and sailed with us to Mexico and got utterly hooked. For the next couple of years he kept in close contact. After a six month contract in Patagonia and having authored a kayaking guide to Lake Superior, he came back on Karaka and stayed for nearly a year.
